Fundraising

The Zirka fundraisers help cover operating costs, including the purchase and maintenance of costuming, rent, insurance, etc.

Zirka will be collecting a $100.00 fundraising fee from each family at registration this year.  These will be cashed upon receipt, and may qualify for reimbursement.

Dauphin King's Home Games - Scanning Tickets

Only 25 families will be required to work at the King's games. Each family/individual will have to work 5 games.  Each individual counts as one of the game requirements.  2 family members/individuals working at one game = 2 games for fundraising requirement. Once 5 games are worked, that family has met their fundraising obligation for the year, and the $100.00 fee will be reimbursed.
This fundraiser raises $ 2 500 -  $3 000.

Teresa Prokipchuk is overseeing the Kings games project for 2016-17.  This is a revised schedule for the remainder of the regular season.  Once playoff games are known, more spots will be available to fill.

Countryfest - July long weekend - Serving alcohol, selling ice and charging for showers

Representatives from each dancing family can work at least 3 shifts at the Countryfest Bar, Ice truck and/or Showers.  Once these shifts are worked, that family has met their fundraising obligation for the year, and the $100.00 fee will be reimbursed. After the initial 3 shifts are worked, $12.50 per additional shift worked by family representative(s) will be put towards the dancer's tuition for the following dance season (totaling up to a maximum one full tuition within the dancing family).

This fundraiser raises $5,000 - $7 000.

Zirka Board Member/Committee Chairperson

Any person serving on the Zirka Board or chairing a committee will have the $100 fundraising fee returned at the end of the year (at the Board's discretion) if the Board has found them to have fulfilled all duties.  Committee chairs must submit a monthly written report but are not required to attend meetings.
